VTCT Level 2 Award in Nail Technology
The VTCT Level 2 Award in Nail Technology is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in providing and maintaining nail enhancements using either UV gel or liquid and powder nail systems.
You will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in applying, maintaining and removing nail enhancements, using either UV gel, liquid and powder or wrap nail systems. You will also learn about health and safety, client care and hygiene practice for nail technicians.
This fast-track course can be completed around your commitments making it the perfect choice for those wanting a good balance of classroom teaching and home learning.
You will also be required to do some home-based learning to practice your skills and complete homework as part of this course.

➖ This Level 2 Award in Nail Technology course starts every February and September

➖ 4 weeks (1 day per week)
➖ 10am - 5pm

Do I need to bring a model?
No. However, you can bring a model for your practical assessments if you wish to. At all other times students will be expected to practice on each other.
What do I need to buy for this course?
➖ Stationery - notepad and pen
➖ Uniform - therapist tunic, black trousers and black flat closed toe shoes
➖ Brushes - you will need to purchase two brushes that we recommend
➖ Equipment - whilst you are training with us, we provide all other products and equipment you need to complete your practical assessments
What can I do with this qualification?
This qualification forms part of a larger suite of Level 2 nail services qualifications. However opportunities for employment as a junior nail technician are possible through this award when taken alongside other Level 2 nail services or nail technology qualifications.

➖ Pay in full - £359 plus VAT (£430.80 total) this includes the VTCT registration
➖ Pay in 2 interest free instalments - example £200 deposit, then the balance by the end of the course
